Trip to 韶关(in China)

i travelled to 韶关 during this Easter Holidays.... 韶关 is at most northern part of GuangDong province and it took 5 hours speedy-bus from Shenzhen(top up a 2 hours travelling from HK to Shenzhen = a total of 7 hours to me.....u_u).

韶关 is not a big city and is not too special to visit; the 南华寺 and 丹霞山 are the only place worth to see. Although 丹霞山 basically is mini-size of 张家界, the landscape there is still very beautiful....there is a penis-like's rock there and local people believe that they can get baby-boy if pray for this rock. Hahaha, i also pray for it, let see if i will get a baby-boy~~~

a Christian Church found in the centre of the city and it is so interesting that there is a rolling-gate of the Church....

i didn't buy many things, only 2 kg of dried fish....my mom love it very much~~~ ^_^

Shek O -- BBQ

i went to Shek O last Sunday(March 16) to have a BBQ with my friends. The weather was so so sunny that i wanted to have sun-bathing rather than BBQ.

A bit surprise that Shek O didn't have much change, it still have the "looks poor's village"(but they are rich actually) with lot of small local shops there...

I remembered that when i was the first time to Shek O (probably when i was 10+ years old), i remembered that i had a mind at that time that i want to have a house here one day. So, this time when i went there, i tried to find if any property agency there, but there wasn't any~~~

Love Economics /

I read a book recently, called (Love Economics: Talk Love with Keynes).

This book is quite interesting, it said that the theory of economic can apply to different sectors & fields, including "love", even though most of the people may think that love can not be quantified or measured.

Some of the chapters such as:
爱情的需求 (the rules of demand)
爱情的需求弹性 (the rules of elastisity)
爱情的供给 (the rules of supply)
爱情需求与供给的均衡 (the equilibrium of demand and supply)
效用的概念 (the concept of utility)
激情函数 (the function of passion)
激情指数 (the index of passion)
成本 (cost)
收益 (return)

The writer used a lot of graphs, curves & formulas to make the presentation in a more economics aspect.

Although i don't think it has any sound scientific analysis behind the concepts, still, it is a funny & interesting book to read.

Medication of Chinese Calligraphy

Things are always happened incidentally...When i returned some books to library today, i read a little book on why & how to cure your stress for city people. And it has an article on "How Chinese Calligraphy cure stress"

It said some testing has been made to "normal people" Vs "Schizoid disorder people", it said the heart-rate and blood-pressure of Schizoid people has been improved after writing awhile of Chinese calligraphy.

The reasons are:
1) The function of people's right-brain is responsible for "pre-attentive processing" while left-brain is responsible for "analaysis"
(that's why left-hand people usually more creative while right-hand people are more analytical)
2) Disorder people usually have damage on their right-brain while overload the functionability of their left-brain
3) So, when writing Chinese calligraphy, it can stimulate the use of their right-brain while lessen the use of their left-brain
4) Subsequently, it shown improvement on disorder people

You may then ask a next question, why only happen on Chinese calligraphy? but not English calligraphy?

Good question, it said English calligraphy also has an effect on "relaxation" but the effect is not as obvious as Chinese calligraphy. It is because:
--> Chinese characters are more complicated, so, when people write chinese calligraphy, they normally take longer time to complete a word. During your writing, it is scientifically proved that the activity of your brain has been slower down; while during your rest, the activity of your brain has been speed-up. So, that's why Chinese calligraphy has obvious result than English calligraphy

Well, such made me has an comment: City people normally not write (they type), so, their brain-activity always keep at high level without rest; that's maybe one of the reason that more and more city people has mental-disorder problem

this topic also remind me one thing. i remember that some hosiptals in Spain use "Chinese calligraphy" as a medication to the patients....hahhaha, should I take more "Spanish calligraphy" to lessen my stress~~~

Espanol Caligrafía~~~ Espanol Caligrafía~~~Espanol Caligrafía~~~

Sometimes when we read newspaper and see that some very good or nice people have bad return, you may criticize whether is the God blind OR is the world without justices?

A lot of people (including me) may ask: why good people may not have a good live/life/return According to another book written by 星云大师 (the famous buddist), he has the following explanation that i may like to share it out:

Dream reading --

I watched a video presentation today about dream reading. This talk is conducted by a HK Psychologist. The content of this talk is very interesting and useful, for example some classic dreams:

1) 甩牙梦 has the behind meaning of ethnical judgement. Maybe you had quite a lot of lies at that moment, that's why your ego(潜意识) has a message through the dream.
2) 考试梦 has the behind meaning of career development. It may say that your preparation to a certain tasks is not enough to deal with the career development.
3) 梦见蛇 has the behind meaning relating to love-affair.

It also said that dream actually will bring some certain & useful message out, if you try to take attention to your dreams, you may understand yourself better.

Watch it if you have interest.
