An Interesting Passage -- 三十幾歲，真「大鑊」

My friend always forward me some good passages, and i found this quite interesting that want to share it out~~

The key point of course is not 三十幾歲人 (even though i am 30+ already)....what i want to say is: 上一代經歷打仗，連溫飽都成問題。今日我們的困境，只不過是減少奢華，無法同日而語。三十世代，坎坷與否，在乎閣下心態。

三十幾歲，真「大鑊」

前言：三十會今年是五周年紀念，本周四﹙十八日﹚會有一個慶祝聚會。一連四日，四名三十會成員，分別寫出對三十世代的睇法。這篇是第一篇。

六九年至七八年出世，三十幾歲人，本應是一生之中的黃金時間。但不知何解，這班三字頭的人，突然成為了社會上被同情的一群。蔡東豪在專欄撰文，指嬰兒潮的大佬，仍要在金融海嘯之下坐鎮。三十世代，sorry，你們未夠班，要等等。一名前《南華早報》記者棄筆求學，研究題目有關三十世代，致電訪問，「你們這群人，是否好閉翳？慘遭阻頭阻勢，無法上位？」三字頭，經常被標籤為「悽涼」。

事實是否如此？陳冠中在他的名著《我這一代香港人》中指名道姓，說他們的一代不知道自己有多幸運，並非是能力過人，但撞着香港經濟起飛﹙套用曹仁超的術語，橫跨廿五年的大牛市﹚，全部乘勢而上。相比之下，輪到我們這一代，就的確是風水輪流轉，是交上惡運，左一巴右一巴，將我們打得人仰馬翻。
一般人需要半輩子才親身體驗過的經濟周期，我們十年見盡。九七年從經濟頂峰滑落，九九年拜科網熱潮到二千年爆破，○三年沙士，○七年大旺，○八年金融海嘯引發大衰退。在生命的黃金十年，經歷四次經濟低潮，「運交華蓋復何求，未敢翻身已碰頭」，我們這一代，確實坎坷。
人有三衰六旺，經濟有起有跌。區區經濟衰退，其實沒有什麼大不了。幾年之後，股市樓市，「輸完又嚟賭過」，始終有翻身之日。但最大鑊，並非時來運到命途坎坷，而是以往在香港 work 的那一套，突然此路不通。這，才是三字頭最大的悲哀。

平日經常讓人掛在口邊的「社會流動欠奉」，「大學畢業並非前途保證」，已經毋須多講。最攞命的是，從上一輩人身體力行傳下來，以往行之有效的價值觀，到今日三十幾歲這一代，全面崩潰。


傳統智慧失靈
上一代是勤勤力力，省起儉用，努力儲蓄，供一層樓，買兩手滙豐，唔偷唔搶，一心安安穩穩，老來退休。這套價值觀，由上一代親身示範，到今天他們是安享晚年。

三十世代照做，卻碰得一鼻子灰。勤力工作非但只不再是向上爬改善生活的保證，隨時連工作飯碗都有機會不保。銀行工作一向是穩陣的代表，時至今日，銀行工作的你，朝不夕保。買樓自住，有瓦遮頭，是你幼承庭訓。到今日，雖然一早打破樓價必升的神話，但發夢都意想不到，你連按揭都無法獲批，未能上會。到最後防線，聖誕鐘，買滙豐，赫然發覺，三爬兩撥，一百「蚊」可以直插七十五「蚊」。揸滙豐等退休，原來又係呃人。

這才是三十幾歲最大鑊之處。我們的生活模範，我們的學習對象，我們的理想境界，一下子發現原來此情不再。我們要靠自己，發掘另一條生存方程式。跟隨上一代的路途，不但只毫無保障，反而可以令你一敗塗地。三十幾歲人，接受殖民地教育長大。而殖民地教育，是教我們循規蹈矩，安守本份。但今日，本份，就是令你全軍盡墨的兇手。

用這個角度看，三十世代是坎坷的。但亂世出英雄，當社會大亂重新洗牌，機會就待之而起。雖云懷才與懷孕一樣，遲早讓人發現，但並不表示沒有懷才不遇這回事。懷孕只須十月，但懷才十年，一樣可以慘遭埋沒。

三字頭的人，要自救，就先要承認，以往能，不代表今天也能。例如社會團體。上一輩人覺得「三十會」不倫不類，既非政黨，亦非壓力團體，看似漫無目的，又似暗藏機心。但其實，這一類社會月台，才可以壯大並生存至今。君子群而不黨，現代人合則來不合則去，才能夠用最小公因數，維繫最多的同類人。我自尋我路，這就是三十幾歲人應有的氣概。


不可同日而語
同樣地，我們要明白，未來自己的生活，不可能再用父輩一套照辦煮碗，必定是一套全新，兼且同樣無法傳授給隨後一代的生存方法。同枱食飯，各自修行，我無法指點其他人的路應如何走，但我們就算如何迷失，始終捱苦的過程，已經較上一代舒服。

我買咗水貨

Hehehe....after i bought the skin-care products 2 days ago, my colleague showed me this newspaper advertisement today .............hehehe, i believe that the products i bought must be 水貨.......

but anyway, i don't care if it is 水貨......because 水貨 does not mean 假貨.... it just mean they didn't sell the products through the official dealers only......

My Conquests / 我的戰利品

Recently, there are many warehouse sale due to economic downturn and also due to year-end financial reason.

So, yesterday(Dec 10), right after work-hour, I rushed to a warehouse in Lai Chi Kok, to do my crazy warehouse shopping for my skin care products......It's so so so cheap compare to what i normally spent......almost 70% off!!!! I finally spent $1500 for 5 items (moisturizer, toner, daily-mircofoliant, eye-cream & cleanser)

Today when i plan to post this blog, i suddenly think that my another best friend, Winnie, is also using this brand....i better suggest her to go there quickly...

終于有產品出啦!!!

First of all, congratulations to my good friend, Hilda, who got married on Nov 22!!!! ^_^ Although I was not able to attend her ceremony since I was in Melbourne last week, I truely felt happy to her wedding, and heartily wish her have a happy new life!!!

Of course, also thank you so much for her trendy 餅卡!!! ^o^

When she asked me whether I want to have 美心餅卡 or Haagen Dazs 餅卡, my immediate response to her is "梗係Haagen Dazs餅卡啦~~ 美心餅卡從來只會啱我地D阿媽用ja ma"~~~

a Busy Bee currently -- some photos in Paris

I found myself didn't update my blog for almost nearly one month....that is because so so busy at work currently(a few business flying + personal flying)....

well....no special topic want to post....let me post some photos here when I went to Paris 2 weeks ago!! (i grabbed some time to visit the museum when there)

hehehe.....as usual, i will take a very full "free" meal before get on the plane....haha, i believe only me in the louge ate so much~~~

before get into the museum to feed my "soul of art"....i need to feed my stomach first~~~~ a waffle + coffee = $6 euros ar....

this is one of the famous sculpture in the museum...this is called "The Winged Vitory of Samothrace"....i spent time to listen the volunteer about the explanation of this sculpture....she explained that there are many similar "victory sculpture" at that period when any victory....and the reason of this gesture (right leg step forward while left leg step backward) is because she has to get balace of herself as she is standing on the boat~~

i like this one.....this is also one of the famous French painting in the museum...this is called "The Wedding Feast at Cana"....it is a painting about a wedding banquet....

hehe, let me pretend as an expert to elobrate this painting.....As this is a Wedding Banquet....the key person is not Jesus(who is in the middle of the painting)....the bride and groom of this painting is at the left corner......hehee...i don't know why....don't ask me~~~ i guess it is because at that period, catholic influence is very great that Jesus need to sit in the middle of the picture...

hehee...of course...it needs some live-band for the wedding banquet (the middle part of the painting)

it cannot called as a wedding banquet if no wine......

hahaa...there is a brush in the toilet of my hotel room...you may query why need this (because normally would not expect the occupant to clean the toilet, right?).....hahaha...but this brush save me~~~ coz' there are so many "dog shit" on the street.....and I step on it once!!!! so, i need this brush to clean the dog shit of my sport shoes~~~ ^_~

My 2nd study trip in Melbourne -- Oct 22-28

Time flies....i completed my 2nd study trip in Melbourne last week....now is waiting for the exam to be held in early December....

Accidentally i have deleted all my photos this time, just a few photos left...

Our HR Manager gave me the Cathay Pacific's lounge coupon...of course i will take this good advantage to have a very full breakfast before get on the plane~~ ^_~

The berries here are so sweet!!!

Although I took a wrong tram to a wrong beach, but, it's so good that not many people there, so relaxing!!!

You see, so do the birds are also very relaxing~~


haha, you should know me well that i like doing buddism's calligraphy :P

i got burnt by the steam of the boiling kettle~~ not painful but it looks so scary!!!
